This project delivered a contemporary transformation of the school environment through a combination of new building works, heritage restoration and landscape improvements, creating an inclusive and adaptable learning environment that supports the needs of all students. The design celebrates the school’s heritage while introducing modern facilities that promote collaboration, sustainability and innovative teaching practices.

Works included a new administration and multi-functional learning building, restoration of the original heritage school building, extension of the covered outdoor play area with expanded storage facilities, school yard landscaping and a new covered walkway connection throughout the campus. The new learning spaces have been carefully designed to support flexible teaching approaches, with adaptable classrooms that can be divided into smaller learning zones when required. Integrated technology, extensive pinnable surfaces and thoughtfully planned collaborative areas provide students and teachers with dynamic spaces that encourage creativity, engagement and hands-on learning.

A strong focus on inclusive design has created opportunities for all students to participate, connect and learn together. The improved outdoor spaces support both structured and imaginative play, providing areas for sport, exploration and social interaction. Dedicated environments for students with additional needs offer comfortable spaces to build confidence, develop social skills and strengthen connections with peers.

Through the integration of heritage, sustainability and contemporary learning principles, the project has created a welcoming school environment that supports wellbeing, encourages collaboration and enhances the educational experience for the entire school community.
