The Werribee Ambulance Station was designed around a fundamentally functional layout, ensuring the operational requirements of paramedics were met while maintaining a strong architectural identity.

A defining feature of the station is the blue translucent polycarbonate garage, which allows natural light into the operational areas during the day while creating a distinctive illuminated presence at night. The garage is complemented by a natural timber feature wall, adding warmth and contrast to the contemporary façade.

The internal fit-out provides a practical and supportive workplace environment, incorporating kitchen and breakout areas, amenities and dedicated resting quarters for paramedics. The completed facility delivers a modern emergency services hub that balances functionality, durability and architectural quality.
